《同級生 2》在 1995 年 1 月 31 日 登陸 PC-9801，由 ELF 製作發行。遊戲把 12 月 22 日至隔年 1 月 7 日 的寒假 17 天作為舞台，玩家需透過 即時行程系統 與 15 名女主角 互動，找出她們的日常動線並安排約會，最終走向多重結局。市售分為 11 片「硬碟必裝版」 與 13 片「磁片啟動版」，同時提供 3.5 吋與 5.25 吋媒體。
續作改良之處包括地圖擴張、全程事件語音、以及 國枝學 操刀的 FM 音色配樂；後續另發行《同級生 2 SP（卒業生）》擴充碟與「情人節之吻」資料片，並於 1996-1998 年推出 12 集 OVA。雖無正式台灣代理，坊間沿用「同級生 2」名稱並以社群漢化遊玩，至今仍被視為戀愛遊戲經典。
